Since 1995 we have been teaching the youngsters of the Richmond Hill the basics of competitive swimming in a fun and challenging environment. Our goal is to provide the fundamentals of competitive swimming that will let the aspiring competitive swimmers learn how to control their body in the water. We then show them how to translate these skills into the four competitive strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breastroke and freestyle. The Swimming Sharks program runs three ten (10) week sessions over the course of the school year. These run September-December, January-March/April and April to June. When: Classes run on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday,Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings. Summer session (10 classes): These classes are 60 min. in duration and run for two consecutive weeks. These sessions are either the first two weeks or the second two weeks in August. It's an ideal introduction to the start of the fall RHAC competitive swimming program.
